The Story of an American Soprano, who has Won International Acclaim - Rachel Willis-Sørensen
This week on The KORE Women Podcast, Dr. Summer Watson features the incredible Rachel Willis-Sørensen, who is an American Soprano that has won acclaim internationally in a vast repertoire spanning from Donna Anna in Don Giovanni to Leonora in Il Trovatore, and Elsa in Lohengrin to the Marschallin in Der Rosenkavalier. A regular guest at the leading opera houses around the world, her voice has been hailed as having a “caramel tone” that is “as lyrical as she is luminous.” Just of the few opera houses she has performed at: War Memorial Opera House, Royal Opera House, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Metropolitan Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Tokyo Bunka Kaikan, Grand Théâtrede Genève, and Éléphant Paname.
